Exhaust Bending
This is probably the dumbest question ever as I probably already know the answer, but I need confirmation. I just purchased a VERY NICE Italian exhuast from a guy in europe. He said he bought it for his 91 FZR1000, but it wouldn't fit do to "cylinder lean angle/oil in basement" and said the pipe wou...

15K....
It doesn't say 15K anywhere. I was just throwing out a guess. 3K for the rims, 1K for the suspension, and another 1K for the letters LE. After all if ducati can throw all that stuff on one of there bikes and charge 30k for it, youd think that Yamaha ought to be able to halve that cost. Jim, I hope f...

Output Shaft Threads
I was going down the freeway the other day when the front sprocket on my 87 fzr1000 suddenly decided to come off the output shaft. I pulled off and found that the nut had spun off with the lock-tab washer, and that the sprocket had decided to ride on the shaft's threads (for the nut). Now, I have no...

EXUP/YZF750 engine into Genesis or FZ frames
Stumbled across this website today, and I knew I needed to start a new topic for it as the question of whether or not a exup engine will go into a genesis frame or fz frame comes up about once every 3 months and nobody has ever really known. This website was created by a guy who did the conversion h...

Re: 200HP?
Superbike mikes puts out a billet block at 1125cc and they get 175hp on the motor with that. So if you get the full race exhaust and the keihin 41mm fcrs, you might be pushing 200 hp. I do believe that sbm's makes their pistons in all sorts of comp ratios, so with something like a 12.5 comp ratio an...

Re: clutch basket
100% interchangeble (Yamaha pns are the same). Just be careful if you like to drop the clutch or pull second gear high speed wheelies because for some reason the genesis cluch baskets are weaker.

Re: rossi--king of bikes!
Rossi is so awesome! I wish that Mat Mladin (AMA Superbike Champion 3 times in a row for team Yoshimura-Suzuki) would move up to MotoGP so those Punk Gixxer/Mladin Worshipers could see how crappy he really is. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/laugh.g...
