Heck, who wouldn't ? !! SV1K's are the da stuff. My 650 is essentially the same frame but with lighter springs and the 650 motor. Hmmm, I wonder if a SV1K pipe can fit the 650 ? New pics. Just cleaned off the dust and dirt from the rain I rode through on Friday morning and lubed up the chain. Mods a...

Bob Barr For the hell of it I looked to see how many people were actually running for President and couldn't believe how many there were. Some parties are really off the way, but I don't think it's right that none of these people ever have a chance to be in a national debate. At least let them have...

All it need now is remote monitoring in the partental controls so I can spy on my kids' on-line activity. Kontoboy As long as Symantec and McAfee are in business, I'll have a job. As far as the kids, Vista has all that and more built right in. Also, the very first thing any parent should do prior t...

It's amazing how some things just stick in your mind, isn't it ? I installed Zenwalk and had it running for about 2 whole days when they posted a new kernel through their update utility. I installed it and instant KERNEL PANIC !

Often it's not clear as to which one is worse, the virus or the anti-virus ! Unfortunately AV programs like McAfee and Nortons security suites are riddled with bugs and are notorious for their updates. Anyway, I've turned off all software firewalls on all systems as I have a firewall in my router th...

Well to each their own. And I completely agree with Haunter. Viruses and spyware are for n00bs as are most of the applications that block them. Likewise, I run no firewall on any of the 5 computers in my home and no antivirus on my personal workstation and notebook. I looked at KomPozer (yet another...

I learn things when you post Silver - thanx for what I consider an fair and unbiased review here. Thanks ! I've tried to be as objective as possible as I work in the field. I really don't like the way that Microsoft has played their games over the years and I look at companies like Corel, Novel and...

Having used Red Hat, Mandrake, Ubuntu and numerous other distros since 1996, I find that the development and hardware support in Linux pales significantly even in comparison to Windows 2000 Pro much less XP and Vista. There's much to be said for Microsoft's solid API libraries which have allowed dev...

Biketoberfest ! http://www.biketoberfest.org/ Ya know, my pate might be more than a tad exposed but if I EVER show up wearing a Star-Spangled bandanna and a pair of shades that my grandmother should have thrown away in the 60's, please follow the two step plan. 1) Check me for signs of intoxica...

Harley = 2 wheeled couch. I don't ride couches. I see no need or even a good reason to ride on a machine that performs so poorly in every facet as does a Harley. I really get a kick out of the fact that my $7,K SV650 (70HP) has nearly as much HP as a Stage 2 1340 Evo Hardley (74HP) ! Of course it ta...
