Those hills all around there are filled with sweet roads. Left Hand Canyon Rd is not too bad either. I wish I owned a street bike when I used to live in that area.

What year and model is the bike? The wiring varied over the years and there are differences between the U.S. and U.K. models (lighting switch is U.K. only)

Headlight problem

Sometimes my headlights do not come on when I turn my bike on. I have to turn the key off and back on several time to make it work. What could be causing this? It turned off on me once while I was riding also. :shock

Where the rubber damper parts fit in the wheel, it looks exactly like mine. All I can say about that pars drawing is that it could be a error. Something about you driver dosent look right. Too big and only 5 fins.

MsHap, I think you are right, that sounds like the correct definition. I hate it when people are stuck in traffic at a traffic light and they see the light is changing so they move up so they don't have to wait at the light but they end up blocking the entire intersection. But when I was using the w...

I try not to mess with anyone when I am on my bike. If I get cut off I try to let it go when on the bike, because they are usally much bigger than I am. When I am driving my fullsize pickup, that is another story. I acually mess with people just for entertainment. For example, there is a neck down i...

I usally put the bike in neutral when I am at a light. But you guys make good points, I am going to keep it in gear from now on. I do usally pull to one side or the other of the car in front of me when I am at a light or I am in gridlock. I come from a bicycle background and I love being able to squ...

Lol. I was reading your post and wondering, How the hell does that guy know I am in PA? Then I saw your sig. I also live in Pittsburgh. I always get stuck in the traffic on the parkway near the fort pitt tunnels. It sucks cause traffic is going slower than my bike wants to idle in first gear. Consta...

What do you do in gridlock?

You euro guys keep out of this. I know almost anything goes around there. What do you guys do when you encounter gridlock on the highway. Do you split lanes? I am fairly new at street bikes and I don't know all the ins and outs of street riding yet. I get caught in gridlock traffic everyonce and a w...

LOL, yea it sucks. I moved here from a place the does not use salt. My 10 year old truck did not have one spot of rust on it, even on the bare steel frame. Within 2 years I have rust poping up everywhere. The massive amounts of humidity does not help matters either.

Wow! You guys shure know your shit. It looks like I don't have much to worry about. I may switch to a lighter oil, as suggested, because I do a lot of short trips. I have never smelled it or heared it boiling over so I guess I am ok on the high end. I don't ride too much in the colder weather anyway...

I been riding dirt bikes for many years but never made the transiton to the street untill late this summer. I have been riding the crap out of this bike. The bike is a little beat ...
