Am I the only one that reads "Roehr" and thinks of Big Gay Al from South Park?

Will micro/megasquirts do throttle position vs. rpm management strategy? for some reason I thought that they were only speed/density?

You're really better off going with the Ignitech box! You don't have to screw around with timing wheels and that kind of nonsense!

I'll post when I get mine going. My Keihin FCR's aren't racked right... Have to get a throttle shaft made....

I first saw one two years ago. Apparently the first lot of bikes was pretty gnarly. What I had heard was that the first test riders basically said it was just 'too much!'. Apparently it had ~210 hp or so (!).

At least back then, the bike looked pretty cool.....

Anyhow...

Chrissy, did you tiki-torch the bike, or was it just a bit of pyrotechnics?

Um, wait a second...

Did you say your bike caught on fire, or was it just a helluva burnout?

Hey Jim, If you are thinking of putting slipons on it the GYTR ones make the most power, even more than the Graves half-system. Just finished a test of 5 or 6 different sets. We ended up going like +60 on the CO adjustment from the stock setting. It was a pre-production unit though. I like the yello...

89-95 FZR1000 and GTS Question

Guys,

Does anyone know if the GTS had a cam position sensor in it? If so, is it in the cam box?

Was thinking about getting a cam box just for the sensor mount...

Dang U of I guys... I was at FSAE as well in '94 with Purdue. We had a F2 with a blower and intercooler. You don't need to really knock down the compression that much with that 20mm restrictor. We smoked a motor (oil away from pickup) 2 days for the race. You remember the accident? That was Syracuse...

Congrats! When you get there go on down to Harry's (Chocolate Shop) and have a fine ale. Try a Baltimore Zoo if you dare. My record is 4/hr, could hardly walk after. Try La Bamba (I think) -- burritos as big as your head! Take some Avaition classes as well they'll go well with your MET degree. If yo...

Yes, thank god there is an Atlantic, keeps those Labour gun banning idiots confined to a silly island! Typically one does not have to worry about convience stores being held up with a 30 lb (~15 kg) 5 ft long rifle! Although I haven't shot a .50, I have done some long-range shooting, and the ...
