I recently shipped some stuff over to the USA for a member on here, only hassle was filling in a few forms.

Well Chaps. its been a while, `i`ve been busy decorating/diy`ing. Been having a play spraying the seat unit, not happy with the result so in the process of re-spraying it. Finally got all the YZF750 bodywork. Had a go at fitting it all, all fits ok, had to "jiggle" a few brackets. Only issue is the ...

Sorted the rear shock reservoir, fitted the original bracket on the underside of subframe, looks ok so far, just needs a test ride to see if it catches the hugger.

Thanks for all the positive comments so far.

The Thunderace forum members over here have put a price on my head, probably forming a lynch mob as we speak.

They can`t understand the word "modifying" :poke :)

Wait until i start on the front end..................... :cool

Just a couple of problems to sort, the shock reservoir won`t fit on the original fixing point due to the wider Ace battery box, a couple of jubilee clips round the subframe will do for now, going to get a new Hagon shock with no reservoir, so thats that sorted. The coolant overflow bottle is catchin...

Modified the YZF750 seat as the front fixing points are different, just cut off the Ace`s front locating tab and screwed that on, needs tidying but does the job for now.

Bit of an update. Got another YZF750 undertray, had to cut and plastic weld the Ace battery box on as the Ace CDI and another relay fix on the front. Had to move the fuse box and starter relay and re-route some wiring. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/rf9rider/Picture177.jpg http://img.photobu...

I have been looking for YZF1000 body work for my 750. Would you be interested in a trade? It is the one in my avatar. If not wanting to trade would you be willing to sell the rear section you took off? I think shipping price from here in the UK would kill you! For some reason, the prices are extort...

Battery box/undertray needs modifying a little, and the starter relay needs moving.
Then i have a YZF750 swingarm and forks to fit.

Still undecided about the front fairing, i do have a set of YZF750 front panels to fit and see what it looks like.

More to come. :)

Managed to repair some of the bodywork, the top fairing had to be cut down one side behind the mirror as the other side had been snapped off. First job was to replace the forks, headers and radiator. Thanks to Ebay all replaced. The headers were brand new, stainless with no exup valve. The bike runs fine, if not better with the headers, sounds better too. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/rf9rider/4010.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/...

New Thunderace project

Its been a while since i got it, but sold my YZF750 at the end of last year and bought this, in need of a bit of work. Forks were bent, most of the bodywork was missing or trashed. Leaking radiator blowing headers and a bit more i can`t remember! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/rf9rider/4001....
