Re: LSR ZX14R build

I'm just waiting on a buyer for one of my kidneys. I'll say! that looks like it might cost you a left nut too.!! Hopefully you're putting an equal amount of time and effort into the slippery-ness of the rider hump. Sure would be cool to be able to get some wind tunnel time, but..... yeah I ...

Re: LSR ZX14R build

Now that would be one hilarious sight to see wouldn't it. Full slipperfied LSR machine with a buck ass naked dude on it @ 200mph +. I'm sure you've probably listed all that off once before, sorry if that was a repeat for you Ralph. @ 27 psi, as long as you make that thing slippery enough, I'll bet y...

Re: LSR ZX14R build

I imagine it will be like spool, spool, spool, spool, are we there yet? then being shot out of a cannon! I was thinking about that too, but then thought you should likely be fine as it is twin scroll and it is going on a bike that revs past 10,000rpm, more than 3000rpm past most other engines it mi...

Re: LSR ZX14R build

That Turbo is FRIGGEN HUGE!!!, that's gonna be fun spooning into that already intricate and tight pipe work to begin with. 1400CC Yes, HUGE motor, hopefully the turbo will be just fine then. Nice parts for sure Ralph, looking forward to seeing the rest :popcorn I think you made the right choice on t...

Re: Rider Safety Suggestion

earplugs can help a bit just so you don't incur hearing loss so much. For Safety however, a proper riding suit, Lid, Boots, and gloves obviously. There have been a lot of in-rows into airbags in coats nowadays but they do cost a bit, then again, you've only got one body. If you are hitting the race ...

Re: #2 Race bike

I think it's got something to also do with bumping the size of the valve. Much speculation over whether it's better to bump the middle one or just the outside two. Of course flow has more to do with porting, but, I suppose it also has something to do with the door and the end of the hallway too thou...

Re: Bimota YB4EI v OW01 'Race Relations'

I'll read the rest of the article later, but a good one nonetheless. My only comment on their question, how can a little Italian company contest with a big Japanese giant, well they did allude to it in the article, but, simply stuff the big japanese giant's motor into your sweet lightened and stiffe...

Re: New family member

Yes, I would say 52hp would be plenty enough before you need get into a 700cc 2 stroke. Make sure you're more than used to the Husaberg's power and handling before you go up in machine as it's quite the starting off point for anyone, dirt and street are quite two different kinds of riding. Can't say...
