Re: My latest Bimbo
I remember the 1st time I saw a Bimota, it was a brand new YB10 Dieci (FZR1000 motor) and I was just in awe at the RAW CRAFTMANSHIP...PURE ART!!! The owner lived in my area and I bumped into him several times...he had talked about selling it but I told him to keep it as BIMOTA's are unicorns! :thumb...

Re: 2015 Yamaha YZF-R1 and R1M
Yep, pretty trick indeed but it was no surprise that Yamaha had a race model alongside the standard R1 because of changes to FIM World Superbike rules in 2015. Actually, the R1M is very inexpensive considering what the bike is...although still not on par with previous "homologation specials". It's t...

Yep, it's the long week-end for Canada too. For sure, the wait at the border will be over 1 hour at best.sickle44 wrote:Oh man, a Holiday to boot? They'll be no way in hell we'll get across the border in less than an hour?

Re: Canada-USA Meet-up
Hi Guys, Unfortunately, I'm only able to meet at Skagit Powersports on either Aug 24th or Aug 31st, which are both on Saturdays. I've already used up my vacation time for other dates during the year and my co-workers have already taken the week of Aug 26 - 30th (Mon - Fri). The other alternative is ...

Re: New Years Project Resolutions
Sup Jason,
No worries, really glad the YEC Frame is going to a great new owner! I figure that since I had 2 YEC Kit Frames, no need to be so greedy.
For the 856cc Big Bore Kit, I'll be going with ARIAS because it's good sh*t!
Cheers,
Julian

Re: New Years Project Resolutions
List of things I need to get:
-856cc Big Bore Kit
-Carillo Rods
-Falicon Crank
-YEC Kit Exhaust Cam
-Attack Triples (for Ohlins WSB Forks)
-Brembo 32/36 Mono Bloc Calipers
-Brembo Rotors (Narrow Band)
Just takes a lot of $$! This is why I'm so poor!

Re: FZ-YZF Slipper-Clutch now available.
Hey Spook,
Thanks for the intel on this slipper clutch. I have to say that at $1000, the price is OK, considering the YEC Dry Slipper Clutch had an MSRP of $12,000.
Cheers,
Julian

Re: Moto GP 2012
Hi Guys, In my opinion, as much as I hate to say it because I don't like him, Casey Stoner is the man to beat. But that doesn't mean that I expect him to win the title again. Ben Spies needs to step up and bring his "game on" because quite frankily, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with his results last year...

i haven't seen one moto2 race since the series started. i see the benefits in a "spec" series, but i just don't think it makes much sense to limit one item of a bike to one manufacturer and allow free reign with the rest. either make everything the same (chassis, motor, tires) or nothing at all. i ...

Great to see you here! :) Your YZF750 looks really clean, especially with 90K on it! Yep, looking forward to seeing some trick mods on your sweet YZF. For brakes, I'd highly recommend: Goodridge or Galfer Stainless Steel Brakelines Brembo 19X20 (forged or billet) radial pump front brake master cyli...
