Re: Getting things back in order

Good to be back, Dave. I never meant to disappear, I just had to prioritize some items over others.

Getting things back in order

Hi everyone, Let me start by apologizing for my complete lack of visibility on the board over the past few years. I won't bore everyone with the details, but life threw me a few curve balls that really did a number on my career, my hobbies, my free time, and my sanity. The good news is things will h...

Re: Forum Software Update

Hi Dave, I am pretty sure there is a spell-check function built into the "post reply" submission box. I think it might be dependent on language sets installed on the forum (we are running the default phpBB British English language pack). My errors are flagged on the fly with recommended sp...

Re: Forum Software Update

Hi Thom, good to see you're still hanging around! I will update the logo soon. I updated the forum software to the most recent release of phpBB 3.1 and from what I have it came with plenty of changes on the back-end from 3.0.xx versions. Two of the biggest changes that impact our board are the revis...

Re: Forum Software Update

Forum software update complete! Hopefully many of you weren't too inconvenienced by the upgrade. I am assuming it was mostly our friends on the other side of the world that might have hit the board while it was down for maintenance. Everything should be working well, but please post here if you come...

Forum Software Update

Hello everyone! I know I have been absent from the boards for many months now, but I hope to be spending more time with the group again. Over the next few days, the board will be up-and-down while I put some software updates in place. The hosting company will be upgrading the platform the forum resi...

Re: VERY IMPORTANT POTENTIAL GROUP BUY for SIGMA SLIPPER CLU

Where are we on this?

Unfortunately, I have been away from the forum again lately and haven't had much time to keep up on the deal. I am interested, I just need to know some specifics.

Thanks!

I read the same thing about Spies and feel the same way. Just don't care.

Re: Rossi Back to Yamama :)

I have said it before and I will say it again. I am neither a Rossi supporter or detractor, but it will be nice to have hi back on the Yamaha. Kudos to Stoner for doing what he did on the Ducati, but I don't think the Rossi/Ducati partnership was ever meant to work. As for Spies, I was really hoping...

Yes, I want these for sure.

Are these no longer available at the local Yamaha parts counter? I thought they might be, but then figured they weren't.

Is this for real? If so, will someone loan or give me $1000? Please?

Re: back for more

Thanks guys. I wasn't actively avoiding/ignoring the group, there have just been some illnesses in the family that have kept me preoccupied. These things happen and the world keeps turning.

Anyway, back to it!

Re: Bike graphics

photshop won't scale a raster based image very well unless you import and convert at a particular setting. you're better off using a raster based software package like illustrator.

Re: Win the lottery ... buy a motorcycle

I would purchase an OW-01 and an OW-02, an RC30 and an RC45, and one of my all-time favs, the Moto Guzzi MGS-01.

Hell, I would settle for just a mint OW-02.
