moly grease
copper grease are ok for most things that heat up a lot, expecially thread and where there is need of a protective finm against rusting and seizing of the surface exposed to elements, but where there is some sort of movement or friction, like in the exup or headstock bearing or swingarm parts, is be...
Re: ride height
disassembled completely my forks, I have the pics, and had built a fork spring tool that work very good, pics of it too, now im installing the new goldvalve and springs, it is not such difficult job but you have to do it with the right tool......
that in my opinion are 1 fork spring compressor to...
Re: ride height
well I checked the handlebar boss (havent made pic yet), and think is impossible to remove 15mm material without have a really unstable handlebar, the size is about 30mm total, so it will be about 15mm after the milling....that is no good to keep it stable enough since its no made like the actual on...
Re: ride height
thanks for the reply guys, ok 15mm is what i will do Jim, at the end with a couple 5mm spacer I can vary the front height to find what work best for me.
about the other idea (mill the handlebar boss) had think that too, but once you mill it by 15mm there is a problem with the fitting of the rubb...

Re: floating engine mount bolts?
there is a nice article on how to line perfect the engine with the sprocket rear, basically you must loose the bolt, start the engine and let the trans rev a bit to have find the less friction point (both sprocket perfect lined), and then tight the bolt, this add lot of freeness to the final trans.....

yzf 750 clutch on fzr 1000
I have a complete yzf 750 clutch, since it is far better at the basket construction (and also have a retaining ring) vs the fzr 1000 exup basket, my question is: swapping the basket with all its parts, boss, pressure plate, friction-steel plate, springs, etc, to the fzr primary gear will work? most o...
