If we need another ticket sale to get over the 20 ticket hump (is that the official number needed to get the group perks?), I'll be willing to purchase a ticket whether I can go or not. I'm taking a leave of absence from work in November to help the family business off the ground and to go back to s...

Just took a peak at "A Twist Of The Wrist" and the file starts at Chapter 11. So I don't think this site is in any danger of stealing anyones income.......... My argument involving file sharing is a 2 parter. First of all, the percentage of file sharer's vs the number of people who still go buy the ...

Tech support is such a dicey way to make a living...... Last to get a decent budget and first to get hit with personnel cuts.

Ti's spendy
Yes it is, but I'm not needing to shave a few grams off the front end to warrant spending that kind of money. A dragracer or road racer, yes, but I'm just a daily commuter.

And the resulting drop in the level of service which makes the company's future profits even smaller and results in more downsizing......... :hijack And my bad, I thought the entire rotor was being discussed, not just the bolts. $80 for a set of rotor bolts isn't...

The solenoid on the Ford trucks (and most Ford cars til the late 90s) is seperate from the starter. The positive battery cable goes to the solenoid and then heads down to the starter. It'll be on one of the fender-wells. The solenoid may be damaged, or just old because it's likely to be original equ...

Let me add one more to that. "Street Fighter" Been wrecked several times and I'm too lazy or too cheap to put the correct plastics back on it, or they are too hard to find for this really old bike, so I'm going to try to cash in on the trend Ducati started and attempt to charge you more than the bik...

Generally I'd agree with you UnFazed, however I have to point out that there are metals like titanium that have a very high degree of resiliency and definitely won't shatter under impact. True, but this stuff is not titanium. Not even close. Just ordinary aluminum layered with composite (composite ...

I'd have to question any metal composite which could be called immune to fatigue. Basically means it's so hard that it won't flex, but can probably be shattered like glass. So we'd be trading one metal composite and one set of problems for another. I certainly wouldn't ride a motorcycle made out of ...

Wasn't the GSXR issue with a weld ?? Yeah, wasn't getting full depth penetration especially in the steering neck area, a few cracked and they pulled others apart and found more. I forget what year that was exactly. 2002-2003? :? As I recall they made aircraft propellers out of aluminum, as early as...
