I had the problem. In fact, I just posted my solution to it. while working on my carbs, I noticed two of my "choke plungers", the same valves "EXUPELVIS" is talking about, were cracked. They would let in extra air. I also cleaned my carbs. I highly suspect the cracked rubber was causing the problem....
