Well it's a good thing you have a spare set of carbs sitting on the shelf, my sister tried installing the same kit last summer to only find herseld drilling those plugs out, and trying to find a way to get the holes in the slides back to the proper size. I'm not sure if anyone has gotten the Dynojet...

Re: re: R1 fork
I use a Sigma bike speedo, it's good up to 205km/h after that it jumps between largely distanced numbers. Other than that I've had no problems with it.

Re: YZF750 shutdown
Good job Columbo I pretty much figured that out already, not to sound like a smartass but do want a gold star? I"m personally thinking there may be a problem with the fuel pump because I can switch it on reserve and it runs fine. I am unclear of how the fuel delivery system works, I know there is a ...

YZF750 shutdown
When I ride my bike at high rpms for extended periods of time(reaching top speed on highway) my bike cuts out, I switch it to reserve and it's fine, if I slow down and drop the revs I can take it off reserve and it runs fine; it does it even when it is nowheres near empty. Anyone know what the probl...

Re: Interchangeable Clutch Baskets
Well seeing how they don't list anything for a YZF750 back to my original question.

Interchangeable Clutch Baskets
Has anyone ever fitted a clutch basket off of an R6 or R1 onto a YZF750?? A buddy of mine recently had an R6 engine apart the same time I had my 750 apart and the inner and outer apeared to be the same. Reason being is I don't think my basket will last the season, there are heavy indents in the oute...

Bleeding
I'm glad I saw this thread, I've bled the brakes on over a hundred cars as I'm an Automotive mechanic, but for some reason the front brakes on my ride a impossible to bleed all the air out of them, I've just finished bleeding through a container and a half of dot4 fluid and they're still spongy. I'm...

Seizure
ON top of Exupilot's advice, get someone to sit on the bike and hole the brake pedal, it will be a lot easier this way as the wheel cannot turn.

Just curious but how is your oil level doing???

Re: air correctors
When you add the air correctors you're supposed to drill the slides. So theorectically if you ditch the air correctors and the slides were drilled, woiuldn't you run lean??

EXUP SEXUP
Has anyone tried putting an Exup header off of an R1 onto a YZF 750? I'm curious because I'm wondering if the the newer Exup headers are lighter than 13.5 pounds. It would be a good way to shave some weight and keep the Exup valve.<img src=http://www.ezboard.co...

Engine work
These would be pretty straight forward questions if I had a service manual but the dealer doesn't know how to order one(they've ordered me an all french one and an owners manual so far). Anyways is there a way to measure cam chain tension and is there a tensioner on board(manual or automatic); also ...
