Re: Tyre Wear
cant really say anything about your orig. problem, but I (and my friends) are driving with 29-30psi in both ends at track. if its a very warm day, im driving with less. note that these are values of an cold tire.
from what you posted, it seems that you will have to change the rear shock in order...

Re: EXUP SEXUP
R1 engine has camchain on engine side, while yzf/fzr has chain in the middle. so there will be a difference in spacing.
however if you buy an R1 pipe, that has movable headers it just might be possible. i know that R1 type engine is lower, so the pipe is likely to collide with your oilsump etc an...

hahahah!!!.. your running to the same problem as i am.
as of yet, i havent figured out any way to get the instruments to fit. i pressed them as far as possible under the fairing, and duct-taped them to place. as i just got the bike together (1040 wisecos), and i´ve just driven it for ~150 miles, ...
Re: nos kit
i have been planning to get one wet nos system next winter. it is about the only choice i can take as there is absolutely no way for me to get my bike throught the inspection with the fzr1040 engine and turbo. otherwise i would have tryed to add an turbo next winter.
the systems that i have seen ...

Re: price

yzfrat jes there is very little space in front of that configuration. i have an yzf750sp -93 frame, with fzr1000 -95 engine, and R1 -99 upper and bellyfairings. had to cut out the middlefairings, as i have the 93mod straight type 750 radiator, and it would stick out of the fairing (would look stupid...

Re: Supercharger
i once saw an picture of an yzf 750 engine with an supercharger. he had taken the drive to it from the right hand side of crank. i cant really see it working in an yzf/fzr frame as it "interfears" with upper engine mounts. i think that it was made for some other than bike application.

for the...

Re: Go faster EXUP
fastman put an fzr/yzf1000 engine with wiseco 1070, a good porting, a set of Keihin FCR 41´s, an acrapovik full race, falicon lightened crank and you might be somewhere around 170bhp. the only way you can have 200+ bhp is turbocharging, or buying one new ZX12R <img sr...

Re: Wheels Painted??
powder coating is the way to go! doesnt cost too much (probably around 30$ per rim)
anodizing is not the way to go, unless you are prepaired to do the cleaning of the entire rims beforehand. besides that its going to cost a lot. you have to remove the factory coating in order to have new anodizin...
