My only experience on a 2 stroke street-only bike was a H2. I felt a lot like Yosimete Sam. "Whoa, I said ! Whoa !" Way out of my league at the time. Thats half the fun of it. Wind her up and let her go, Hang on for the ride :) Man you guys getting me excited to get mine done!!!!! http://www.youtub...

Can't argue on the fun factor but there's a point where fun and fear are out of balance. That was when the H2 went vertical and the rear wheel was getting real close to leading the way in directions I probably don't want to go anyway. When your screaming is louder than the exhaust there is somethin...

My first street bike was a '72 RD350 I miss that thing. Although I have a TZR250 which I love to ride the old RD was a different feel.

You'll enjoy the Ninja 250 may take awhile to get used to wringing it's neck to get her going. Watch getting too aggressive with stock suspension as it is very soft. Front likes to bottom and pogo rear bottoms and slides.

Included a link to a site for the Ninja250

I've never seen a Kwacka 250 with a chrome silencer. They've all been black.
Thanks, The TZR is a blast to ride. The Ninja 250's came chrome and black throughout the years I think it would look better with the black, Not worth changing it though.

They are selling it as a collector piece. Not for me IF and that is a big one, I could afford a car like that it would not sit much. I cannot own a vehicle motorcycle or car and not drive/ride it.

Cases must be split to replace gears. If you were planning on a rebuild in the near future, This would be the time to do it.

I use a 1/2" Countersink bit its the right size to take the head off and leave enough of a stud sticking up to get pliers or vice grips on most times they can be removed with your fingers after the head is off.

steve, if i am still living in cleveland next year for this you can swing by.
Yup, A few of us from farther east of you could ride as group. In my opinion it's more fun to ride as a group especially on the highways.

I didn't think they ever came with paint. Exerpt. The body of the DMC-12 was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and clad entirely in brushed SS304 stainless steel. Except for three cars plated in 24-karat gold, all DMC-12s left the factory uncovered by paint or clearcoat.[3] Painted De Loreans do exist,...

190/50ZR17 Qualifier can be used on a 5.50 but they recommend 6.00 the underlined number is recommended and other is what it will fit.
The 5.50 is going to make the tire more rounded.
