Try ebay also. Also maybe try WERA racings board or CCS Forums and see if theres anyone selling stock bodywork. Probably is a long shot though for any YZF600R, but you never know. [/url]

A bike made late in the year (as in sept) is considered a model for the next year. Cars do the same. Your bike was built 9/95 but is a 96 model. Common practice with motor vehicles. 95-96 YZF600 are identical other than graphics. YZF750 forks are upside down forks. The slider is on the wheel side wh...

On a side note, the bike shop told that the master link has to match the brand and model of the chain. Does that sound right ? Thats a bunch of bull. I have a D.I.D. master on a regina chain (used a clip link on this one and the clip disappeared). As long as teh pin diameter is the same its fine. S...

I have that same press. Yes you still have to stake the pins. All I do is put a huge mallet behind the pin on teh wheel side of teh chain and use a ball peen to peen the head of the pin just enough to keep the plate on. Never had a problem.

I would hate to see the matching leathers! And a plug in the front tyre? - no way would I ride a sports bike with a repaired tyre! I have. Done right its fine for everyday riding. Wont be racing on it, but bumming around its fine. Front though I would have replaced asap. Rear, I would wait intil I ...

Heard that CCS and WERA require tank protection on that particular models of R6. Quite honestly those cornerworkers used the extinguishers correctly. Aim at teh BASE, not the flame tips. One thing I;ve noticed cornerworking trackdays and races. Most track day workers are NOT race cornerworkers. Race...

Ya think Kiwi's joke brought tears to your eyes? Read this..

Last week while travelling I stopped at a Zany Brainy store and saw that they had a blimp for sale. It's called Airship Earth, and it's a great big balloon with a map of the Earth on it, and two propellors hanging from the bottom. You blow up the balloon with helium put batteries in it, and you have...

Older ones I wouldnt worry about. The new ones over the last couple years I can see them having issues with how thin they make them now and how much stress the high horsepower can dish out to them.
