Really, what sort of organisation would without warning or excuse, destroy the timeline of millions of users that trusted in a "free" imaging site.
I'm without words.

Re: ZX7RR Build.
We have had the cylinder block re-bored block accompanied by Wiseco 13:1 overbore pistons. Work was carried out by Phil Tainton. He is a legendary Australian superbike driving force. His relationship with Suzuki, Kawasaki, and probably others has yielded many Australian Superbike Championships, thou...

Re: ZX7RR Build.
Yes they are very tasty Jason  Here is a photo of Jason's freshly resized rods, and the jig I made up to balance them properly. Pistons have been weighed and are about a gram and a half different in weight, this will be rectified to as as close to nothing as possible. Picture of rods and Ji...

Re: ZX7RR Build.
The crank has been sent away (I took it there and then picked it up...lol) for a fine balance with the ignition timing wheel attached. There was about a gram taken out of the crank total. The organisation is one of our Country's best. Humble, honest, and insightful. I actually asked whether spending...

Re: Something tasty...
Same Brembo discs on my bike, possibly wheels too. Hiya Jason, Those are ducati discs, they look similar to your discs profile, though your's don't have any round holes, and have a much deeper offset. I reckon your M1 is fitted with works pattern Marchesinis and discs, specific to Kawasaki and the ...

Dunno where it is, but whomever has it will be a happy banana!
Here's another beauty... Anyone heard of a Golinelli OW? Certainly something I would be happy to have in the shed.

Re: Dutchman Racing
They sold off all their 5 valve Yam stuff a while ago, including the Yamonster race bikes, R1's parts etc. It seemed like they were fire saling. Not sure about current status though.

Strainer, and oil cooler cleaned out and sump back on. probably should have left it to last, but it's on now...lol. https://i.imgur.com/wyc694i.jpg Kit alternator block off plate, For the starter block off I used a 30mm welsh plug. Cheap and won't leak or come loose. The same can be used on our FZR'...

Re: ZX7RR Build.
One thing that I found once it was apart was an aluminum sludge residue in the sump. I inspected everything, only to find no sign of noticeable wear. The sump went into the ultrasonic cleaner, but I felt it necessary to look inside the spin on filter, for metal or any signs of something going on. I ...

Re: ZX7RR Build.
Jason is wanting to paint the bike in Kawasaki France colours. So it would make sense to paint the steel and the alloy tank at the same time. This the scheme we are going with, Jason? But with saturn black wheels. Personally I like the green, but either will look fine. Edit: Jason has decided to go ...

Re: ZX7RR Build.
On good advice, and notepaded, (if that is a word ) here is a rough spec of what we are building: - OEM ZX9r crank is being (further) balanced, with a crank specialist here in Melbourne. -Rods are being re-sized, balanced, and shot peened. -We thought we would use a M1 close ratio trans, but the box...

Re: Hi, long time no see
Hi Stig, yes unfortunately FB is taking it's toll on forums. After a week posts are lost on FB, we have Tim to thank here for keeping this one up and running. I still often go back or search here for something I remember reading, or even some info I have posted and forgotten the details of  I...

ZX7RR Build.
Okay here is an introduction as to what we are doing to JasonL's ex Worksish Zx7RR M1, and why! We are currently building a Zx9R motor for it to make it more competitive in the P7 class, as it runs against up to 2000 R1's GSXR's ect. And it struggles. The last meet I went to with Jason saw the M1 pa...
