Re: “I Like Guns”

All males age 4 and above are obsessed with guns, but most countries enforce firearm restriction laws to keep citizens in check. Thats why I like it here. I can carry concealed, own full auto, short barreled rifles/shotguns (16" is the legal min here unless you have a permit for one shorter) and su...

Re: The "New Look"

One thing that works well on another board I'm on is to make all but the introduction board visible to people not logged in and in this area they must introduce themselves before being approved to access the general forums.

Fix mount tabs on bodywork?

SO has anyone ever fixed ones that broke off and stayed fixed? I've been thinking of just replacing the broke ones with a kydex plate ad use Dzus fasteners.

Make sure ALL oils are off before painting. Use a good degreaser designed for wiping down parts before painting. Also I do have a rule with regards to painting race vehicles. As long as it looks good at 60mph(100kph) and 60ft (30m). :) I;ve seen some club racers our racing with I swear to God, $2000...

We went through this up here back in 08'. One of the parks looked like a lake. Couple of smaller lakes just north of us still havent receeded.

More snow forecasted for tomorrow though.

Yet another 2 more.....

Well we had 3 more fatal bike crashes this past week. Bringing the total in this county to 9. 1 was a guy riding a dirtbike (no word if a street legal one or not) hit a car. 2 was riding a scooter drunk. 3 was reportedly speeding, left 380 feet of skid marks with a V-star before hitting a car that p...

More likely due to it be not a highly sought after item. Especially on a bike that hasnt been made in over 10 yrs in small quanitites to boot.

And if someone copies another companies designs and starts selling them , it opens up a whole new can of worms with patent infringements.

Well took it out tonight. Approx 350 miles. So far no leak. Wiped it down when I went to the gas station. Some of the oil that was left over in the dust shield came out, but nothing afterwards. Hopefully it holds until winter. Originals will be going out for rechroming (and probably have the upper t...

Finished it up tonight. In the 10 min it took me to put the front wheel and brakes back on at 11:30pm, I ended up sweating like mad. Kinda put the kabosh on taking it out tonight being this humid. Maybe saturday will be better. Still need to get a pic of the new rotors on the bike.

Forks back on bike. Still need front wheel put back on. Been freaking hot as hell and humid here the last week. Plus tired when I get home from work and dont want to do a thing.

That combined with a not really in a mood to care about riding isnt exactly a good combo.
