Re: The "New Look"

no prob spook. i still plan on looking to see if i can set some preferences for images. i think some of the other styles use a left side column for the user profiles, so that might help as well.

i'll keep ya posted.

Re: The "New Look"

sickle, i'll take a look at the properties this evening. spook, i think we posted a reply to this on the previous page. the images are not cropping when posted on the forum. you'll just need to widen the size of your browser window. the right sidebar does take up a bit more screen space than the old...

Re: Some recent Pics

well, i wouldn't worry too much about the master cylinder swap. i am sure your stock master is a nissin unit, and i know the r1/r6 masters are also nissin. the problem the yzf750 riders had when swapping to the newer four pot calipers is that the stock 750 master is 5/8" in diameter for the stock 6 ...

Re: Some recent Pics

yeah, those calipers (as well as the blue spots) use the standard but wacky yamaha 100mm mount spacing. since the 1000 bike's fork bottoms are slightly different from the yzf750, you should be able to bolt right on without having to grind away some of the mount. the 1000 fork bottoms have that "spli...

Re: The "New Look"

ha! in tim's defense, he's been on top of the general forum crap for years. it's just eh back-end stuff that's the real PITA.

yeah, the themes have changed a bit. we're not running any extras like we had on the previous board. i'll hopefully be creating a unique look here in the future.

I added a few Yamaha logos to the avatar gallery for those of you that would like to use one. Here's how: 1. Click the link to access your User Control Panel 2. Click the tab called "Profile" 3. Click the link on the left side called "Edit avatar" 4. Click the button called "Display gallery" 5. Choo...

Re: YEC YZF750 Kit Cams... Insights sought!

yec released their "customer-spec" items to anyone that wanted to buy them for their track bikes. their "a-spec" or "a-kit" items were only available to the factory teams or the teams running a satellite bike with factory support. they were the really cool things that were more prototype than produc...

Re: YEC YZF750 Kit Cams... Insights sought!

spook, i thought yamaha supplied both sides in the later kits to the "a-spec" customers. mike walsh here on the board has commented on this a few times and he is of the belief that the kit cam available in 94 wasn't worth the effort. i can't comment about specs as i am still learning about lift/dura...

that's the same thing i thought when i saw that photo. you want to think it's just the angle of the camera, but everything else looks straight.
