Kiwi,

The big news for us right now is P6 750 and 1000's getting an invitational slot in the Island Classic. We're hoping that a Kiwi contingent will make it over with some P6 bikes as well as the usual P5 stuff. How do we get in touch with all the NZ P6 racers????

Steve, we caught up on the phone but well done again anyway! It's nice to get to the end of the season and achieved something significant and lasting. See you at The Island Classic - its going to be mind blowing - Spook might even get his 1000 along if we badger him enough. So far looks like there w...

I went along yesterday. I have to say, MotoGP is pretty processional, far too few bikes on the grid - lose a few as we did in the race and there's not much on show. Moto2 was the best race - in no small part because its a full grid. Nonetheless! its great to see them in the flesh in action, and yes ...

After doing a series every year for the past 5 years I think I'll have a rest and just concentrate on a couple of big events, Barry Sheene, titles in Nov, maybe a state historics meet if someone puts P6 on. PCRA 1 hour probably. I may do the odd club round especially Phillip Island just to have a ru...

Wind up alert! I reckon I'm a pretty clean racer....too clean in fact, I've finished behind slower combinations plenty of times because I couldn't / wouldn't force a pass.

Ah well, there's a big difference between doing one fast lap on a clear track and actually racing!! Broadford is not so easy to pass on in several spots - I'd need to be in front going into crash cnr to have a hope of maybe pulling enough so as to not get passed on the back straight...but to do that...

Yeah, that sounds pretty high, but then I don't know YZF gearing at all (how does that compare with stock ?), plus yours has more punch to be able to use it. If you have any sort of headwind you might not see it but otherwise, let us know!! I did the 6hr last year on Jim Burke's ZX10 and saw 282 km/...

Nice, will be good to catch up at Broadford again. I'd love to make it to the Island the next weekend but the funds and time aren't there right now! Gear it up man, think EC +1 tooth on the front, or less 2-3 on the back.

Well Cam, there's always been the talk about getting a few of us out on a track day, how about we firm it up and get Spook out on one of his 50 bikes and anyone else we can rustle up???

Steve,

Top report and yes it was good to finally catch up, maybe next time it can be on the grid!! Just think how much quicker you'll be when the suspension is sorted and if it had lighter wheels. A 104.5 first time there is very respectable, B grader for sure!

Thought you'd like that. Racing again Sept 17-18 Broadford, Vic Titles last round. You should come up and have a look, pit board mate has moved on to bigger things.

Prior to that I'll pop up to broadford Aug 20 or 21 for the Hartwell round for a look.

Yes well I like to play the poor underdog remember?? :) Oh, and was the FZ stock?? Steve - interesting - Stick and I used to note that the 88-90 GSXR's tended to pull away a little on the straights from the VFR, they had longer legs. I guess its not just about peak power but where it is and where it...
