The big news for us right now is P6 750 and 1000's getting an invitational slot in the Island Classic. We're hoping that a Kiwi contingent will make it over with some P6 bikes as well as the usual P5 stuff. How do we get in touch with all the NZ P6 racers????

I went along yesterday. I have to say, MotoGP is pretty processional, far too few bikes on the grid - lose a few as we did in the race and there's not much on show. After doing a series every year for the past 5 years I think I'll have a rest and just concentrate on a couple of big events, Barry Sheene, titles in Nov, maybe a state historics meet if someone puts P6 on. Wind up alert! I reckon I'm a pretty clean racer....too clean in fact, I've finished behind slower combinations plenty of times because I couldn't / wouldn't force a pass.

Ah well, there's a big difference between doing one fast lap on a clear track and actually racing!! Broadford is not so easy to pass on in several spots - I'd need to be in front going into crash cnr to have a hope of maybe pulling enough so as to not get passed on the back straight...but to do that...

Yeah, that sounds pretty high, but then I don't know YZF gearing at all (how does that compare with stock ?), plus yours has more punch to be able to use it. Top report and yes it was good to finally catch up, maybe next time it can be on the grid!! Just think how much quicker you'll be when the suspension is sorted and if it had lighter wheels. A 104.5 first time there is very respectable, B grader for sure!

Prior to that I'll pop up to broadford Aug 20 or 21 for the Hartwell round for a look.
