Cheers for the info Toni, interesting reading... You've lost me with the: pj paj mj maj pj=pilot jet & mj=main jet I guess but the other two? My slides are undrilled. You also have the highest float setting I've ever heard of! There's a FP 1.1 ti kit and new eTubes waiting for me, well, for the EXUP...

Man, Spook, your 'abouts' are more precise than my 'exactlys' :poke

The info is much appreciated.

Weird thing is I've read that pods screw up your fueling as badly as removing the EXUP. I've pinned the EXUP fully open and ridden around for a couple of weeks in the past and it really did kill the engine below 2500rpm, but I wonder if everyone who's tried pods has always removed the EXUP as well, ...

What am I doing??? You asked for it, well OK you didn't, but going on about it should provide some motivation to get off my arse and do something with the bits I've been compiling.... My '90 FZR1K is scruffy, bought cheap, spent a fortune on the engine, fitted an Ohlins, dogbones, radial brake maste...

No, you just re-read something unclearly written (I'd make a lousy tech-manual writer) and got the wrong idea... I wanted to say that the RSV TOP triple was stepped on the upside but not on the underside, hence it looked like it would do the job, but it wouldn't because if you want to keep the head ...

Cheers Hooli, The only one I've found in Europe is this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Aprillia-RSV-Mille-front-forks-and-yolks-2000_W0QQitemZ230370961136QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item35a32de6f0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 which isn't the same year but looks like the same part. Stepped triple treeeees

OK, I have some mint 2009 GSXR1000 forks with radial brakes and they were gonna go on the Spondon but I've decided to keep it as is, you know, so they're just sitting there gathering dust, and the EXUP's due a face lift, so.... (Also got a new rear ally sub frame, plastics etc but that'll be another...

Now there's a silly question if I ever heard one!!!

Kind of like finding a bottle of Matusalem in the fridge and considering teetotalism... or smelling frying bacon and considering vegetarianism....

You know you want to......

Spook. Yup. Still got the '99 Patriot. I'll never sell it. Just fitted some Supertacky 2.35" wide Maxxis tyres, new (long) pins in the pedals and sintered pads to freshen her up. Been down the bike park three times this summer (Bike Park = What they do with a ski resort off season, lifts and all) an...

Dude: On your next outing.... take a little tape and put it in the bottom part of the tach....... say covering up 0-4000 rpm. Try to keep the needle visible at all times (of course after you get some new shoes for the scoot) Hotcam: Yes with new tyres and new suspension I should be able to use a lit...

My new ride...

While we're talking bicycles, I just picked up a 'new' ride with a view to getting back into racing next year. It's four years old but well maintained and still competitive, so... started doing sit-ups again and will prolly join a gym next month. Is it 'cos I'll be 40 next year??? :) http://leeph.pi...

Cheers Stig,

Mine are so worn it's difficult to tell what they were, but I'm guessing 12.5*5mm as the play allows for any reading between 11.9 and 13.2 :!:

I'll give them a call later on.
Cheers

Cheers Stig, that would be ideal. Please do. How many different sizes and shapes are there???

That's a bummer 97YZF, but understandable. It adds a lot to the cost and grief too, but for the buyer I thought, not the seller (unless someone refused to pay it and they got sent back etc)...

Cheers Cam, The same guy who sold me the new discs has the equipment but he was under the impression that each manufacturer uses different spec 'buttons' and that that would be a problem. I'm not so sure. The ones on the new discs and the originals are very very similar in size and shape. Problem is...
