Re: Carb Cleaner

I've found this to be the best I've used yet. Small tins, but it is really good.

It's a genuine subaru product so you should be able to purchase from a dealer.

Re: ZX7RR Build.

I don't see any photos of an M1 Ralph? Hi Michael, I haven't revisited this post. i know M1 makes you think of a Yamaha GP bike! I'm actually referring to the Kawasaki homologation special for super bike racing. It was designated 1993-1994 ZX7-RR (M1) https://andys-kawasaki-zxr-zx7r-tribute-site.ne...

Holiday

During the enforced Covid 19 lock down, I thought of a way to lift my partners spirits. I purchased a map of the world, and pinned it up on the kitchen wall. When she got home, I gave her a dart, and said throw this, and wherever it lands i'm taking you for a holiday when covid is all over. Turns ou...

Re: Coils

no, but in theory, better than a hard worked coil that services 2 cylinders in a 2 x rhythm The modern teams use them, so they work. I'm going to have a try with them just because they eliminate a lot of piping, just wires. You still need to provide both cylinders with 12 volt energy, and with stock...

Racers 87 & 88 YZF F1-TT pics

A friend loaned me an edition of racers that covers the YZF endurance racers.

I'll put on the white gloves and post up some of the pics inside. :D

The ZX7R and RR are one of my TOP 5 bikes.
They sure are porky to sit on though Tim!

The M1 photoed is probably the sweetest handling bike I have ever ridden. Just takes some getting used to.

Re: ZX7RR Build.

Speaking of Team Kawasaki Australia... I've added another ex-TKA bike to the pile. This one is Josh Waters 2005 ZX600N. it's a ZX-6RR, and is like the ZXR750RR M1, this is also a homologation special. Probably only 20 came into the country, and this one is the factory bike. It came 4th in the 2005 A...

i'm biased a bit towards Dunlop, but there are plenty of good dual compound sports touring options out there.

Buy a jig saw. Drill a hole where you want cuts to intersect. Years ago I mounted a jigsaw underneath a piece of melanin... it was sort of a band saw without the band! Just choose the appropriate blade for the material you wish to cut. For aluminium too fine will clog, too course and you will have a...
