I agree that 1 type is in compression and the other in tension, and the torque arm itself is quite similar if not the same, but you missed my point! it is the anchorage point and it's forces applied to the swinger I was worried about, tearing off the mounting as tension forces are harder to brace. I remember Jamie Whitham, I don't think he actually sat on a bike, just sprawled from side to side, front to back. He was awesome to watch, climbed all over em! I am not impressed, anyone can buy a pre-made special, DIY is better.

after all it's 1998, don't look like it's done much work either, show pony!

but I may be biased!

Aren't FZR rear Caliper on top of the swinger and YZF's underneath? Brake torque arm will be required or modding the swinger! Best solution is strip and clean existing set-up new piston seals in both master and slave. Braided lines and a good old bleed! Mine is 20yrs old and still stops real well, b...

I think you'll find the the cam cover lid has whats called "plug tube seals" incorporated into the head/cover assembly, if these weep oil is displaced down the plug tube (hole) and sits around the base of the plug/washer area, what you have is a residue left on the plug as you've pulled it out and t...

Oshanac,
what you need to do is, under your photobucket image you have 3 options of selection, you need the image code one (bottom of the 3).

if not you will only get hyperlinks that will not work, the one you need should look something like

Hope this helps
