I don't think it's the manufactures not willing to pay, it's more the Moto GP owners wanting more return on investment. 1st it was good by 250's and hello Honda Cup, now goodbye 125's and hello 250 singles, We will wait and see how Colin Edwards performs on his new CRT bike, it will be the first rea...

For all those who wanted a return to the days of less electronics and more rider input, it looks like your wish has been granted. The owners of Moto GP are introducing the Claiming Rule Teams (CRT) for next year, and what do we get, a chassis built by a Harris type company, fitted with a road bike e...

So my top 3 at the beginning of the year was Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo I also made comment that the title would come down to Casey v Casey. Well the kid got his head around the Honda very quickly Some Stoner stats; 10 wins this year, same in his previous title winning year 12 Poles. Equal best of all...

Thanks for the write up Steve, i have enjoyed following your progress this year, and it's great to see all your hard work pay off with a few trophys for the dash on the way home, and a chance to stand up and get a big trophy at the Hartwell end of year presentations The island classic is a fantastic...

As people who have a passion for 2 wheels, its upsetting when anyone we know pass away while enjoing something we enjoy. I've never met Simonchelli, probly never would have. I have watched him race motorcycles for many years as he rose up through the ranks. I invested time in getting to know the per...

That CRT bike was using an Aprillia RSV motor....6 seconds off...leave it on the truck and go to the pub... As for the technology thing, i love it, Moto GP is the best riders in the world, riding the best bikes on the planet WSBK, great racing, but Biaggi as current champion, and Cecha leading the p...

While the whole Moto 2 thing makes for good racing, it's actually leaving me a bit cold. Do you open it up to any engine manafacture to have a crack at building a suitable 600cc?? Given that a recent test of a 2012 CRT 1000cc bike was some 6sec of the factory teams, it may be best left to the big ma...

Ben rode really well, he used the gap created by the mayhem behind him and took his chances...... The Ducati GP11.1 was an interesting addition, according to some reports it is the GP12, sleeved to 800cc, running 2011 forks and brakes, not sure if they are breaking the rules or have found a huge loo...

I read a great article about Simonchelli. it talked about him being able to have a bit of a swagger when the top kid in the play ground is your mate, even when the other kids don't like playing with you But in true Rossi style, when a mate starts to get a bit to quick (Hello Sete!!) he has given him...

I'm sure Honda have had words, that was one HRC contracted rider on a works bike taking out another, Your right that you can't go cutting off the nose of other bikes, but have a look at Pedrosa, leg out, back wheel off the ground, he got in too hot, got off the brakes an would have sat it up and run...

Lets not get carried away, the Ducati has improved, but i feel you need to look at Haydens results to see how far they have come, Rossi is a freak, but the Duke is still probly a top 6 bike at best Simmonchelli, well there will be a lot of debate over his riding, Stoner was known as a crasher, then ...

I know a lot of people like WSBK for its crash and bang racing, but last nights Moto GP race was, for me, a great battle between 2 guys riding the best bikes in the world, 10/10ths for 28 laps. Moto GP is finally starting to heat up, blokes at each other during press confrencess, Stoner and Rossi wi...

Great coaching book is "A twist of the wrist", Vol 1 & 2, Keith Code. They are probly a bit old school now, but contain solid info on how to gradually increase your performance. Simple things like having $10 to spend on a corner, if you spend $7 on braking, you only have $3 left on mid corner and ex...
