Re: ZX7RR Build.

Personally I like the green, but either will look fine. +1 Yes please!!! Although not very fun to clean, it'll look so much more bitchin' than basic black. What colour do you think is responsible for half of all the Kawi fans being Kawi fans to begin with anyways??? Yes, that'd be for sure, Beautif...

Re: ZX7RR Build.

Why not just grab a crash damage tank for the time being, in essence, I'd be wanting to build a nice aluminium job anyways eventually with fiberglass tank cover, like the Harris framed FZR, WoW! that things gorgeous! Ralph just threw up a link for it, although, like you said, I greatly understand th...

Re: Hi, long time no see

I really can't stand FB for forum replacement. Do people just not get it??? Obviously not, but.....

Good to know, you're still keeping up the exup forum Stig.

Re: ZX7RR Build.

Yes, replace the tank!!! First off, and there will be tears. Mind you, will you find that people will pay you the kind of dollars it should command, or no? If not, then I dunnknow. The weight savings can't be that huge, but it still would provide an advantage but not the kind of advantage taking the...

Re: Ultrasonic Cleaner

that makes a bit more sense,

What year is the ZX9 motor? Just interested as it took yamaha until it's first R1 iteration to put the cam sprockets on the end of the cams.

Re: TZ250U (3AK)

All four dates are in the East, "the" holy land in Canada so to speak. Yes, there is quite a large dislike between Atlantic, and Pacific Canada, mainly due to the idea that Toronto believes it to be the centre of the earth. I would love to come out to the one of the races, but alas the locale negate...

Re: Little help on rods

He lodged the counter claim 3 month after the box was returned? WTF? work it out? I can't. Just another case of bend over. Definitely, a very raw deal, but as you know, we all have to suffer with the worlds population of 20% aHoles, just ask my more than $5k theft loss from my garage. Somewh...

Re: TZ250U (3AK)

I don't think CSBK is coming to Edmonton this year, not sure if they're down in Calgary either, that's assuming you're even playing with CSBK at all this year.

Re: TZ250U (3AK)

dude, Doesn't need to be Exup at all, you had me at TZ! Let alone that's a properly aligned intake/exhaust engine, and boasting Marvic wheels. Whenever you're done with that one..... Pick me please, that is if you move it and yourself to Canada. Are those the stock calipers or brembos of some sort? ...

Re: Little help on rods

Ouch! Shitty thing to do to someone for sure with regard to the eBay account, too bad you weren't able to get them on your side. I bought a subwoofer amp that was a paper weight once, despite the fact that when you opened up the box you could smell how badly electrical burnt it was before ever even ...

Re: Little help on rods

Does the R1 use the same rods as the FZR did? All I can seem to find are R1 rods by Carrillo, not sure of wrist pin and crank diameters or rod length.

Re: Little help on rods

Clutch basket is still here too, As far as R.. goes, my experience with him was a pleasant one to be honest, and I think he's packed in his build a LOOOooonnnnggg time ago. In all honesty, I'd suspect me sheity neighbour of foul play than I would most anyone else. What annoys me the most out of anyt...

Re: Little help on rods

I don't expect to build it for free Ralph, that's for sure. It's just a bit sore having to pay for everything twice. I'll stick with the 1070 bore, just because I've already got the jugs to match, thankfully that and the falicon crank survived the theft. As far as I understood, the head gasket issue...

Re: Little help on rods

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111664852988 ... 1436.l2649 By all accounts, there is nothing wrong with these rods. They sure look nice but they are $528Au more than the set I already had. Those look exactly like the carrilos that were stolen. It's proven pretty to find the wiseco 1070's though. I can ...

Re: Little help on rods

4mm off with a spacer, that'd sure be one helluva sweet stroker motor if you managed to get it all sorted. Helluva lot more displacement as well, wouldn't that be around 1200 cc?
