Re: The "New Look"

i can definitely do what thom recommends in about 5 seconds, but then everyone will have to either locate the page or update their bookmarks. i could place an html page at the current address with a link to wherever i move the forum. or, i could put up a redirect. will the spam bots be able to "rea...

Re: The "New Look"

Thomvis may have had experience with this site, if not, he should look into it for his own needs..... There is no need. I've changed the forum root folder into something the script kiddies/spammers don't have on their list. Spam registration went from 5-10 a day to 0 in a year. Sometimes security-t...

I've got two in the so-far-so-good section. ABS welded the ears back on, made an aluminium plate with a cage-nut and polyestered that on for reinforcement. Now poly and ABS don't mix too well, so I'm expecting a phonecall any day now. Are you getting the dzus fasteners with the loops? A race team ov...

4 km before I start my swim to the UK, 230 km max before I need my passport. Road trip? At 1200 km I need to speak Spanish, Italian or something Eastern European, and a supersport bike is probably not the best choice if you look at the quality of the roads there.....

Hello back. And since we're onto nothing, a couple of weeks back I got a new garage door. No big deal, but it messed up my not so organized garage layout even more. My two bikes are not completely assembled, so fairing all over the place, wood chips and saw dust from the old door everywhere, stuff t...

My trackday experience

First time out A little trackday history from my side. In 2009 I went with 2 friends to the south of France on a 3 day trackday training. Ton had been to trackdays for years with his FZR600 and GSXR600 and entered the fast group, and Arne just got his motorcycle driving license and a dirt cheap YZF...

It takes real men, on real bikes, with really big balls to race there - I don't qualify :) Me neither, but I love to do a lap there when I grow up. I have the video of David Jefferies onboard lap here I watch from time to time. I found only the 2nd part on youtube, so I've uploaded the first part w...

My fuel pump doesn't tic-tic-tic but hums/buzzes and then stops. Mate of mine had fuel starvation three times one 1 trip, going 120kph when I saw him disappear from my mirrors. His problem was a corroded pump connector.
The ICU controlles the Fuel pump relay which feeds the fuel pump.

Mr Spies did a very good job, no doubt, but I was way more impressed by Jorge Lorenzo's performance. Also liked Hiroshi Aoyama waiting for his turn, too bad he wiped out beforehand.
