Re: thaks all
The hardest part is trying to find a way to compress the spring enough to get to the inner nut which allows for the cartridge to be removed/ installed. No dealerships or shops of any sorts? I just can't realisticaly see taking them apart with out the specialty tools. I hate to say it, but in my expe...

I would advise against it unless you have the right special usd brace and a set of split seal drivers, oh and a vice with rubber jaws, and then a pan for fluid, and......<br><br>The list goes on, I would recomend that unless you are very friendly with front ends, especially usd ones, then bring them...

Re: EXUP Valve with exhaust header?
THe best option for anone THINKING about going full system is to get a big cup of coffee and start reading. Unfortunately, I have over 100 posts on this topic and just can't re type the same things over and over agin. If after reading through what I believe to be 400 posts from everyone here, and yo...

Re: just wondering
$50.00 for claps and $20.00 for the bar clips (this is the actual clip, you will use same bar insert from your 89-90). Then all you do, is find some FZR 1000 upside down 91-93 tubes , new set of steering head bearings (I can provide if needed) and walla, modern upside down front end upgrade. Same Ro...

I've got clamps and bars for a 91-93 set-up. All you would need is tubes. This allows for same front wheel.<br><br>CHUCK D. <p></p><i></i>

Re: EXUP squeak
I've just gotten used to it over the last 5 years. They will all squeek a bit, but those that have tinked those bolts off in the hearder housing know the danger of messing with it too.<br><br>CHUCK D. <p></p><i></i>

Re: EXUP
Missing HP usually is a sign of low compression. How many miles on your bike? Last valve adj? and last carb Sync? These bikes aren't Italian, but do require specs to be met to have true 5 valve harmony.<br><br>CHUCK D. <p></p><i></i>

A picture of Dutchmans Machine/ Engine Shop. Look at all those beautiful engines, notice how they used the GYT-R oil pans, see how Deep they are! And of course the beginning of the end, the R1's next to them.<br><br><!--EZCODE LINK START--><a href="http://www.dutchmanracing.com/service.htm" target="...

Conversion
It's a bit more complicated than you think, and just blocking the lines won't do it. The difference in the two systems goes all the way to the oil pump, the 89-90 has a whole difference in that it pumps oil out of the pan and the newer one doesn't have the outlet for that neither the holes in the si...

The roadside test can be done on a FZR 1000, just with CAUTION. To get the BEST jetting on one once, I pulled the fairings off, let er rip up top and shut it off and roll to a stop. Then I proceeded to burn the ever living $h!t out of myself getting the plugs out. Did I get em, well almost all of th...

Cosmo is riding it now w/ his engine and suspension in it. My R1 was Fabulous and before I could get a finished Pic when it wasn't covered in bug guts, she got tagged by a car.
