Re: #2 Race bike
Just what is this secret modification that equals the flow across the three inlet valves?? Sooo curious. Me too, but there keeping them close to their chest at the moment so I've got to wait patiently as well. Unfortunatley I seem to have been hit with my own GFC so development has taken a back sea...

Re: Win the lottery ... buy a motorcycle
Graham, Keep up with the times, I picked that one on May 9 already man, none for you. LOL No problem Michael, there's at least 11 around the place so one each shouldn't be a problem ;) Kevin Grey still gets his one out here for regular 'parades', maybe he'll let me borrow it for the weekend - or ma...

Re: What motorcycle mags do you read?
Any chance you could go through your collection say 87-91 and scan out any FZ-fzr articles? Especially race-bike related articles... Doohans FZr750 win at oran park? post season bike tests? lol. Sorry spook, but after massing several hundred bike magazines over the years I decided to have a clear o...

What motorcycle mags do you read?
I must be starting to show my age these days cause my favorite bike mags are Classic Bike, Classic Motorcycle Mechanics and Classic Racer (they all have articles of those wild bikes I learn't to ride on in the '70's). I've been buying Two Wheels every month since 1973, but that's more a habit now ca...

Zol, why don't you post up a build thread here? I'm sure it would be of interest to many who visit. Cheers

Re: New Rear Sets for our FZR's
Marco Melandri knows all about peg injuries too, I think it was Rossi who managed to stick his footpeg through Melandri's foot a few years ago. Personally I prefer non-folding pegs as I find they allow more leverage moving around the bike with out the risk of them folding up, this has happend a few ...

I need some new socks!!!!
Yup, exactly what it says: I need some new socks. You see, I bought myself a nice pair of AXO Lancer boots a while ago, and they fit great but there is one proble that won't go away, they chaff my legs after a while and it's getting to the point that I'm avoiding wearing them. http://www.youtube.com...

Re: Past and Present Toys
I know what you saying there spook, I test rode the T500 and couldn't believe the amount of low down power it has, well, it would have after the TS125 I had been ringing the neck of for the previous 6 months. The first bike I ever rode was a friends stripped down 1950 Royal Enfield 350 single bush b...

Re: Past and Present Toys
I'm pretty sure there is probably another thread along these lines, but, what the hey, it's always fun to remember past glory and dispair. Ok then, I'll start with the most embarrasing first, a, '84 XLX Harley Sportster, bought from a friend with a blown gearbox bearing and broken primary belt in ru...

Re: The History of Yamaha Technology
Kiwi wins, sorry Spook, much more bling. Nah, just moving pictrures, and like the written one that spook put up, I notice they side stepped Yamaha's disasters as well. 100% agree on the pro-American stance, but, they've always have been good at cheer leading and you can't really hold that against t...
