Thinking about entering Spook?? I know you'd prefer to work up to it and have a lot of track test time first, but its a fun meeting and just come for a run anyway!! At the very least get trackside, it will be the biggest gathering of P6 we get in these parts. BTW had the VFR on a dyno, 96 rwbhp. Run...

It sure is a points-scoring round. Maybe it is a big ask but then its a four round series this year so you are saving a whole race meeting cost-wise which should off-set extra fuel and accom etc. Let's face it, its down to us to defeat the GSXR army!! You'll love Broadford.

Dzus fasteners on race glass

What's the best way to mount the retaining clip on race glass, the slide on clips or the ones that rivet on? Any other ideas?

Ben Spies first win

The American's first win, on a Yamaha too, I thought the forum'd be buzzing! It was a dominant first win too, will be highly interesting to see how he performs the rest of the season now. Mugello this weekend, should be less of a procession than previous rounds, at least for the first half of the ra...

Spook - so you'd also agree that bored out 750's (say 840 for example) shouldn't run in the 750's should it??

Ouch!

But run in a separate class? What? Then it really would be a GSXR cup!

Engine-wise they were pretty good, they just didn't handle the best. Murray Clark raced one in 2009 and did pretty well, 1.43's at EC I think and the motor was fairly stock.

It's more a rule book problem here. The new national P6 rules were based on the 1989 rules which ran to 1000 only. Some clubs like PCRA are allowing 1100's at club level since PCRA for example used to run a P6 unlimited class (which is where I'd run my VFR against FZR1000's and the odd GSXR11) I'm o...

It's starting to pick up, what's a trickle now will be a flood soon enough. Log book - that definitely wasn't Roland then! At the Vic titles they have been checking them. ...

Nice one Steve, I was watching Computime over the weekend and coming away with all wins and a good lead in the championship is the best result possible especially after starting the weekend with an off. Those geese are scary, one race weekend they were sat on the outside at the Hayshed, not somewher...

Well its been white all this time so no big change there, but the scheme I was thinking of was the US Interceptor scheme, White with Blue/red, wouldn't be hard to do. Or something lairy (not pink obviously) but then I'm not lairy, so dunno...something different, OW01 scheme maybe!!

I did think about the RC30 scheme...in truth no matter the quality I won't have a lot to spend on it, funds need to go to tuning and things that matter!! And yes, starting to have to push more, fell off at PI exactly because of that, really wanted to qualify well to lessen straight line deficit etc....
