Re: Christmas Desktop Background

Hmm, 21 used to be my old racing number too...

The rain showers are clearing so it looks like we'll fire up the BBQ for Christmas lunch and generally relax in the sunshine - there's nothing like a kiwi Christmas :cheers

Merry Christmas all :D

Re: Custom Radiators 88 FZR 750-1000

One thing about these engines, is they don't get hot? I always found the standard radiator more than adequetly kept the engine cool. So anything larger imo would be just adding weight. Yeah, gotta agree with you there spook. I be getting duke22 around on the weekend so we can get the motor back in ...

Re: Custom Radiators 88 FZR 750-1000

With historic racing as big as it is there is still scope for the OW's and others homologation specials development Yeah, it's booming over here too, but OW's are very thin on the ground. I think there would be a market everywhere for a OW style radiator (triangular) designed to fit the Genesis 750...

Re: Bringing my GS850 back to life

It took a while to find the 1100 shaft drive model, but it's the GSX1100G circa 1993:

If you want the 1100 motor, this might be the way to go :D

Re: official confirmation

Not much use for a snowmobile in NZ they have been using a triple sourced from 3/4 of the FJR to make almost 1100cc for a number of years in the Nytro sled lineup. Turbo guys are seeing 240hp easily. My question is how much of this will transfer over? If any. I definatley haven't heard of that moto...

Try this article Kiwi...
Yes I've seen that one, but was wondering if Jon was aware of another model that we haven't seen here :D

The last one we had was the XS850 (and I really want one one day for another cafe racer project I've got in mind!!!)

We have to give it back afterwards though...
Yeah yeah, I believe you

Honest Mr Kawasaki - the salt just opened up and swallowed the bike and we couldn't find it again ;)

Good luck with the attempt
