Theft prevention
Ok guys...looking for some advice, suggestions and what-not on how to keep the ol' girl safe.

Sometime in the next few months I will more than likely be back to being an apartment dweller. I'm looking at renting a house if I can find one cheap enough. If not, then more than likely that means no more garage Most of the apt complexes that I'm looking at it don't offer a garage space. Most have car ports/coverings, but no means of actual lock up.

Just wondering what the best options are for keeping the bike safe. Are alarms really worthwhile? Locks? Honestly I think if somebody's intent is to steal the bike then they're going to steal it regardless of what you do. Even if it's got a lock on it a couple guys would still be able to carry it off.

Can't be like those crazy Brits and keep it in my living room (j/k guys!). Btw...doesn't it make the room somewhat smelly with the bike in there??
Nate - 87 FZR1000

Have you seen my fairing? Who cares...I got new ones!!!

wow ...that's pretty neat and affordable too...it isn't one of those pen-nonproof locks though? just kidding...what company was that that the vids were going around last year of people busting the locks with a bic pen? I saw a report that that mishap caused the company billions in loss...b/c a) they finally gave in and recalled all the locks, b) they had to stop production on their current products/locks and couldn't ship to merchants!n DOH
Nbot
'94 Fizzer Litre
This is your sig on drugs....
