Hey Orgis. Welcome! Looks like a fun bike. How many miles and what not? Learn to love the "search" function on these forums, they offer a wealth of knowledge.

Endless Fun :banana

The basics:

1. Get all the scheduled maintenance up to date (front to back, top to bottom)
2. Learn the bike's handling characteristcs (it's a 500 pound sportbike but easy to handle once you get it setup correctly).
3. Get the controls and suspension adjusted for your size/weight, comfort, tire combination, and style of riding. May require swapping in a different length of dogbones (tie rods located under your rear shock).
4. Find the tire air pressure that works best for your riding and tires.

Then decide what, if any, customizing/upgrades you want to do for appearance or performance (engine, suspension, brakes, etc ...)

Welcome,

I think you ought to do as Don says ... set it up right and learn how to ride it to it's full potential before you start to chop it up. After 2yrs ownership, I've just reached the limits of my tire, fork and rear shock combination and am looking foward to the necessary upgrades to start track days. Here in S.FL its easy and safe to attain the breathtaking speeds that these things do.
Good luck and enjoy.
