Moto GP 2008

Post by stan »

Well it is almost time for us to stick our necks out again and make some predictions for the coming season......

Will Stoner continue to be the man to catch, or will the pressure of being the the hunted get the better of him. Will Rossi's switch to Brigestone provide him with the answers he seeks, or will the Yamaha fail to be a match for the booming Duke

Some new young guns in the fiels to mix things up, and some regular riders with a switch of colours may yet prove to be a master stroke

The luckless Hayden and the dour Pedrosa will again start the season with what appears to be an under developed RCV 212

For what it is worth, here i go

Stoner...........a young man who truly has a beleive in his ability, and a team who truly beleive in him is a match made in heven, we are now entering the era of Stoner, will win the title by a constant head over the rest of the field

Rossi.........Will be the best of the rest simply because he is now the second best rider in the field, and the cream always rises to the top

A Honda........Take your pick, Pedrosa is good, Hayden, the embodiment of git, he has the ability to learn and improve

Honourable mentions......Colin Edwards will shine because he is free of Rossi, The young gun will push, and Marco will steadly go backward throughout the season as Ducati relalize his head is in the wrong place

Let the late nights begin

Stoner unless he gets injured. Rossi migt make it to second though I think his teammate, Jorge Lorenzo and Honda's Pedrosa might just make him earn some of that money he's making. Can't count Edwards out either. Hayden will finish 7th or 8th for the year. Honda just doesn't have it together yet. Not sure they will until they come up with a new design.

I would like to see A.West do well, and waiting to see how J.Lorenzo will go!

I hope that Yamaha have made up some ground in Winter Development and testing, as long as we see good racing and no bad accidents it's gotta be good!!!

One factory team "FIAT YAmaha", two disticint operations,

the pit boxes are seperated by a wall so information remains intact, both Lorenzo and Rossi have there own PR team, and there is no shareing of technical information between the two riders.

This situation is not ideal for Yamaha, but to keep Rossi this is what they are reduced to

Makes Lorenzo's ride on Sunday night even more impressive
