I thought I should leave the final update on here. It took me 4 days (I had a Haynes manual with no pictures of my engine!) One whole day was spent finding one transmission bolt that was cleverly disguised with a threaded stud on top of it. Just so I don't sound like a complete slouch, I did change all the motor mounts and worked on the interior (new headliner, seats etc.) whenever I was too frustrated to continue on the clutch. If I did it again I would recruit a friend for a few of the tricky jobs and it could probably be done in a day (that is a pretty steep learning curve!). I can also tell you that it will snow in hell before that day comes again. The finished car is a kick to drive. It is half way between my F250 and a bike on the fun scale. A light car with a manual transmission is like a gocart after driving that pickup. Here is the finished result in KTM orange (it came that way).

He is ? Where ? WHERE ? !! Business management. That's the ticket. My nephew was one of the lead programmers for a company that tanked huge with the .com bust. Yeah he was making decent money but not that much more than some of the car mechanics I know in Jersey. Of course they're working for a car dealer and not a Firestone or Pep Boys.ExupElvis wrote: ...
