My bike is a Streetfightered 1989 exup 1000 fitted with a 98R1 front end ,98 R1 subframe & seat unit & its nudging nearly 50k miles on it,pics up soon.

Yes Yes I know, I said, I'm building a project YZF1070

Basement is done now, 850 finished and gone...
Gotta get the new siding up on the house.
Fixing the FZ1 up, cleaning up garage and then I might even begin

It means "Hello old chap (Bodge), how are you?"
There are lots of accents & odd words in the UK ,some easier to understand than others. Thanx for the warm welcome folks.

Alright there!

Talking abour East Yorkshire I was born in Cleethorpes, North Lincs, so I've ridden around East Yorkshire a fair bit. Nice place. We all moved away though. My brother lives in Harrogate, North Yorks, and my sister near London. I came to Spain 13 years ago and never looked back.

Nice thing about this forum is how we're all of us, from all over the place. South Africa, Australia, Philippeans, and of course Canada plus loads more. I think there's even one guy from the States. Keeps it fresh.
Hope you soon feel at home here.
Have a cup of tea (and some beers :cheers ) on me.

John

I'm in Beverley, about 10 miles west of Hull (although I do work in Hull), are you anywhere close? :cool

Hey John, North Lincs had some fine roads until our state police flooded them with speed cameras!!!
I think you made the right move going out to Spain, although I'm sure you miss the blasts to Cadwell park just down the road. ;)

Beverley: Burgess Ice Cream! Ummmm.
Cadwell: Magic!

Speed cameras... prefer them to the speed bumps (read: Hump-back whales across the road) they use here as well as cameras. My girlfriend almost went off the back last year on a speed bump I hit at 70mph (unmarked, unpainted and well after the last house in town).
If you're going to take a shot at me let me know so I can duck...!

Having some trouble with this photo bucket m'larky (yeah i'm PC thick),its a pity there is no link for image shack, the exup1000 site has a direct link just copy & paste so much better no need to sign up to the shack either.Anybody have an email address i can send some pics to so they can post 'em for me?
