TID14-77 search on Google gives me an YAMAHA OWO1 article on Ebay. (which of course has a parts identification accuracy of 100% ; ).
Intelligence is alcohol soluble.

Thanks all,

The question then is - could you put one straight into an EXUP 1000??

What's it bolted into there in the picture? If it matches up to your loom you could give it a try? it would give you a higher limiter and I would guess probably a slightly different ignition timing curve as well.

Bit of a trick question I suppose, this one is on a 1000 EXUP but a modded one...I might be able to have a loan of this one and try it.

Hows the owner find it? That will probably answer the question regarding performance/operation?

You might be better with a ecu suited to your thou, as you wouldn't really want to be running a stock FZR1000 engine at the same revs as a short stroke OW-YZF750. My gut feeling would be to stick with a 1000 ecu as advance curves etc are set within the rpm range an engine with a heavy crankshaft etc needs to run. You may experience some short term gain with it though :) And then BANG... lol.

Out of interest, who did your valve clearances?
