Just scored a couple of 200mm x 50mm x 50mm ingots of magnesium, now need a pissup in a paddock with a 205L drum full of fire and wine cask bladder full of water.

As I understand the theory:

Burning magnesium is sufficiently hot to strip hydrogen atoms from the oxygen atoms [H2O] and those elements then recombine, regardless of the physics the heat pulse and flash is most impressive.
