Guess I'm getting old....I just don't like the clear lens look for some reason. Think it's just cause I'm tired of seeing them on all the stupid import cars.
Nate - 87 FZR1000

Have you seen my fairing?

I agree with you Nate, same reason why I haven't really liked 'em too much, but Rocket's there looks pretty good....Hey Rocket, you just fabricated that license plate/turnsignal holder/plate right? If so care to explain the basics of it? Although it looks just like a plate bent up to fit be flush with the undertail, and then you just bolt/screw?? it to the tail? Did you just dremel off the old tail section about where the fairing line is? or did you take it off all together?? no couldn't have done that...hmmm....
Nbot
'94 Fizzer Litre
Be alert ... the world needs more lerts ... :)

Have to say it does look neato with the lights lit up. Matches up purty with the turn signals being clear too.

I saw the link to the R1's...the two singles look nice. Maybe I'll come around...

...but I still hate 'em on cars!!! <img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... ananna.gif ALT=":banana">
Nate - 87 FZR1000

Have you seen my fairing?

Its a Competition Werkes Fender eliminator kit, it replaces the fender from about mid seat back. If I remember right about $100 US. It's all stainless Steel. The bracket for the directionals has two positions for the "stockers" which I had till this summer. Replaced them with the clear/iridium coated mini's but had to relocate the brackets further out so that the lights could be seen when the tag is in place. Drilled out the rivets on the stock fender that hold the tool kit bracket and put it in place on the fender kit. The Clear Alternatives tail light is DOT approved now. Each LED section has 45 LED's that are super bright and last over 10,000 hrs. Got tired of changing the tail lamps due to vibration failure. I believe that you can just get just the LED lamps from them also
Jim

95 FZR1000
Edited by: <A HREF=http://p072.ezboard.com/bexupbrotherhoo ...
