Quick release fairing kit from Pro-Bolt

Post by orionburn »

Got an email from them this morning and thought these were pretty nifty. I was thinking way back when somebody was looking for something along these lines (Nbot perhaps?).

The fastners only come in black. Kit contains 10 fastners, 10 backing clips and 20 rivets. Listed at 25 GBP...so figure around $50-55 USD.

You can see them here: Pro-Bolt

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v485/ ...
Nate - 87 FZR1000

Have you seen my fairing? I have them in a really pretty blue.

I just used them on my new seat because it bolts down and I would not have been able to get to my registration and circuit breakers without tools.

www.racebolts.com sells them too. I love the www.tastynuts.com but they are UK so if you are in the US Race Bolts gets you the stuff faster and cheaper.

My Name is <a href="http://147.202.33.72/cdespain/images/me ...

This is My Bike

Nbot might need these, but you don't Nate. Trust me M8, using any combination of following words is a bad idea for you:

Fairing + (*)

The minute the word fairing + (anything) comes out of your mouth, those of us who can't help ourselves will step up to the plate an take a swing. Some word combinations are better than others, and the words 'fairing' + 'quick release' were just too damn good to pass up.

_____________________________________________
Listen Pal, that is not YOUR lane, it's the fast lane.

Goin' to da GP..

The difference between 'involvement' and 'commitment' is like an eggs-and-ham breakfast: the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'committed'.
- unknown

I fitted a set to the yzf a while ago to make removing the belly pan easier and to replace several screws that vanished during the engine swap , there was some available what could deliver an electric shock should someone try to remove the fastener which could be useful on a streetbike <img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... ananna.gif ALT=":banana"> although should you be forgetful one day

Well those sites are not identical.
One is in dollars and the other is in pounds.

and as I keep saying tastynuts is in the UK

So I never mentioned where Pro-Bolt originated but now I took a look and the oldest domain associated with either of those sites is www.pro-bolt.com and that goes to the UK site which leads me to believe the UK is the oldest anyway. Also it would stand to reason that you would not have Canada in the domain name if that is where it started. Does that make sense?

Onion linked www.tastynuts.com in his post. I bought from them before and they billed and shipped from the UK. So I said tastynuts.com is in the UK
and you said I am wrong pro-bolt-canada.com is in Canada.
Do you see how that is wierd?
Then you said Canada is faster shipping then UK. I never said otherwise. I said the UK is slower shipping to the US then a US company.

My Name is <a href="http://147.202.33.72/cdespain/images/me ...

This is My Bike
Edited by: <A HREF=http://p072.ezboard.com/bexupbrotherhoo ... p>MsHap at: 3/30/05 6:44 am
