If it has "3GM" cast into the I.D. boss on the other side, then it is for a 1000 Peppa.
Can you E-mail the seller?
cvhjkthis

depends...
What do you want to do with it?
wiseco makes pistons for 1040 and 1070 as does J&E

MTC will make what ever pistons you want and LA sleeve will make the sleeves for you.
I'd just resleeve it to 1070 myself if this is for the street
J&E pistons as they are lighter and piston weight is your enemy
Jim <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... heat is the down side...but is you use J&E or MTC pistons you can choose the CR you want...and machine the squish to what you need...12:1 will work just fine on pump gas. I would heartily advise buildign a proper foundation to the house as the bottom end is what must take the power, then you can get into the head to make the power. get the two mixed up and it won't last. I know it costs more in the begining but less in the long run...
Jim <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ...
