heat is the down side...but is you use J&E or MTC pistons you can choose the CR you want...and machine the squish to what you need...12:1 will work just fine on pump gas. I would heartily advise buildign a proper foundation to the house as the bottom end is what must take the power, then you can get into the head to make the power. get the two mixed up and it won't last.
