Thanks for the radar detector info, I have been pondering buying one but have not had time to investigate them.I just came back from a 2500 km 5 day ride with 2 other guys, no detector, no tickets, but too many close calls. How much warning does the current technology give you?

Chatterbox vs Collett Comminucators

Hey Tim, was wondering if you've compared these too side by side for MAX volume. I'm near deaf and my smartphone's volume fails me after 30mph. I checked out the link and they didn't mention a PPT button. I understand that the voice activated mike aren't much use at REAL WORLD speeds. I'm inclined to go for the chatterbox, because of the reputation they have around here. Hopefully I'll be able to borrow one to see if it can do the job.

NICE looking basket Jim, but am I ready to be without my bike for a week and more? Good reason to buy a second ride ... always wanted one of those FZR's

Thanks, for any input on the helmet sounds,

Paul

Correction for last post ... that was a VFR. Fingers don't know what there talking about. If anybody knows about a BROTHERHOOD like site for VFRs, let me know ... probably too much to hope for.
