Money was the biggest deal breaker, the Gsxr was about 2k cheapper than the R1.
This thing is fast, I have the YZF750 with the 1000 engine but it is no competition.

Yeah, that sure is purty. I admit, when I first saw the new Zukes I HATED that new exhuast (my joke was the chaps across the pond could at least pull it off after a ride and play a round of cricket 
), but it's actually growing on me. Definately different, but hey, different can be good. Really like that arse end as well...very clean.
By the way, angelos....what in the hell were you firing in your "toy section" that left that big ol' muzzle flash?? All I know is that I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that thing

...lol... AR15 1" bull barrel, full floating hand grips, 3-9x40 low light scope, 67g at 3900 feet/s that’s smoking fast.
All my friends where joking about the big pipe, they call it the cave mans stick, plus when I laid down some spanking to few bikes it earn got that name.
Plus the big is like a gun, it doesn't do anything smooth, it just drops the power on the ground. Other bike are smother, I rode the R1 and CBR and they are very nice bikes, fast, smooth, predictable, but that it is good for a girlfriend... this bike is uncivilized, long hair, unsaved, barbarian...lol... so I want to get the plates "bam bam" :bfg
