Always wear your riding gear. Ouch ... that's going to sting for awhile.

Lay off the poking, Barn. That's why you got one on the way!

"It's OK ma'am, I've been trained in CPR and First Aid.

Hmm? Oh, yes, taking off your shirt is an important part in preventing shock." :banana

I see she had boots on, and gloves are on the tank. She looks clean from the waist up so I can't help but think she had a jacket on.

Meanwhile, you see one guy in the background with sandals on, another with full gear. Go figure.

Me, I always wear jacket, gloves, helmet, and a good 3/4 of the year full suit (Aerostich--love it).

i think she's wearing "pleather" riding pants.

still, she's alot cuter than any of the bastards i ride with!

lol well she looks ok but she seem more conserned about her ripped leathers than her bike. perhaps she is stil abit dazed.

you got a point there, willi. i think the bike will be a bit more costly to repair than those plastic leather pants she has on.

she probably spends more time out of them anyways...

hahaha.

Every long ride I'll get that one ? "Aren't those Leathers Hot?" "Do you really need that much gear?" If there's one thing I've learned is that if you're not wearing it, you would've needed it!! If only she was wearing a pair of leather pants with hip p rotection, she could be sleeping on that side with no discomfort. At least she was wearing something besides jeans. Draggin Jeansd are pretty nice, Kev enforced, Cordura pants have Hip protection too. Glad she seems OK, but leasons hopefully her friends picked up on.

DO you think she was the passenger or rider? The reason why I ask, is the rear pegs are down, and most female riders that I see don't give that many guys rides home.

interesting question you raise there, chuck.

maybe the pegs were just down? i have seen more than one bike with only a rider but the passenger pegs were down.

I'd say it is her bike. Why would she be straddling it if it wasn't?

Her pants aren't as ripped in the first photo as much as in the second. She also took he boots off in the seconf pic. Not that that has any bearing as to whether it's her bike or not.

If you look closely, there is no left passenger peg. Besides, that peg could've came down when they picked the bike up or got caught on something!

lol

I think it is her bike.
Is that the R6 or R1?
It is very dirty. I would be more upset about the bike, unless they were my favourite pants. I ripped my favourite jeans last year (not motorcycle related) and I am still not over it.

I hate most gear. Jackets are great to carry stuff in and I like gloves on long rides because my hands get like hurt from the vibration or something.

I usually just have a helmet on.

Hm.

I wont sit on my bike,Let alone ride it without my Arai / Leather jacket.......

Peeps here ask me if im hot with the heat / sun and shit,Yea,I get hot,An yea I sweat but id sooner be alive and sweaty than dead and kewl,Skin grafts here hurt just the same as they do back home(U.K) they just cost a LOT more here!

Each to their own,We are all adults and take our own chances - I race,I split lanes and yea I wheelie with the best of em,I like to think that IF I go down then at the very least im prepared for it.

Peace.

Yeah, you're right, no left peg. Hope she's alright. Man, I'm never riding w/o hip pads again (not like I really did before, but), yowwww that would have hurt!

Riding Gear

I've gotten to the point I that I feel uncomfortable on the bike without my gear on. Even in the summer when I'm wearing everything but riding pants, it feels odd no to have my legs covered up (but it's just too damn hot).

I believe good gear is worth the investment. My suit was expensive but it's so easy to get in and out of that I wear it all the time. It keeps me safe and in cool weather and rain it can't be beat. I bought some nice Gortex boots and after three years of commuting they still look good, work great and keep my feet comfortable year round. Same with gloves.

For me, without the gear I'd ride less and enjoy it much less. It's worth the expense.
