Ok, so we had a small gathering at Laguna for the MotoGP. I say we get another one together.
"06 @ the Dragon"
We can stay at my folks and my brothers place. That means I can sleep about 16 people and I have a 2 car garage and a 1 car garage and 3 boats. (1 Comp. Ski boat that my brother has, my folks "Party Barge" pontoon boat, and my bass/ski boat.)
What do you say? The week of July 9th - 15th is now confirmed.
John, you can trailer down your 90 & 95 so I have a bike to ride...

Not for sure what my schedule is going to look like this summer depending on when I start school, but I'll make it down for at least a day or two. May only end up being that first weekend you're down there, Tim. That's one of the reasons I'm not going to the GP this year...wanted to make a run to the Dragon this summer.
Oh...and to make the decision making process a little easier for you guys -
That's nearly 29 curves for every 1 mile. Think that's opposite in Indiana. You have to go 318 miles for 11 curves

Think the speed limit is down to like 35mph through there now. Want to start another poll with a guesstimate of how many tickets will be issued that week, Tim??? :laughing
Btw...is Fugitive Bridge named after you?

I've never done the Dragon. Doubt I could stay the week but it would make a great weekend.
Am I allowed to ride my non-Yamaha street bike?

Of course, you can ride anything you want.
I'm just going home to visit with the folks. If I can find a ride while I'm down there I'll make a trip to the Dragon, otherwise I'll probably spend most of my time on the lake.

I wish it were just a little later in the year. Like say early September when the kids are back in school and it's cooled down a little in Tennessee ? Wonder if I'll have the XS750 Cafe done by then ? ;>)

I would love to ride the Dragon with you guys ... but will not be able to make it. For those of you who can make it - watch out for the Goldwings.

I probably can't get time off, but I ride down I- 81 and I-77 all the time ... I'm in Roanoke right now ... would you guys let me ride my 18 wheeler with ya? I'll bring 42 thousand pounds of pickels, but won't have room for Ham & Cheeze.

An 18-wheeler will not make it down this road...

I've seen pictures of 18 wheelers going down that road on the killboy website. Not that it's the brightest of ideas, but sometimes we get lost....

Only if I can start in front and everyone else starts behind you. That's the only way I chance I have of not getting passed by everyone.

I have been dreaming of the Dragon for 2 years now and desperately would love to ride it with you guys, but I just started a new job a month ago and am the kind of person that thinks it is too early to ask for time off
Think of me while yall are doing it, ride safe and keep the shiney side up
