If you're a Duke's of Hazard fan and remember General Lee (the car) ... but you're also a sportbike fan ... here's how you can have it all ... paint you bike with the General Lee paint scheme.

I'm sure it's not Don's. What's with the remote control?

You can get coloured rubber tires, I hear they aren't that great though. Be cool to have on there once though. It's a pretty neat bike though.

Apparently the painter wasnt that bright. Theres supposed to be white stripes between the red field and blue stripes of a confederate flag.

The tires just look odd. The front tire is all orange and the rear is orange with a black sidewall.
I was wondering about the remote also.

that thing was just on eBay a week or so ago...i think the remote thingy is the control for the musical horn, if i remember right...wouldn't be the general lee if it didn't play the dixie tune...

Been a cornerworker since 2001 when I couldnt race. I know most the racers, know where every gate to get on track and usually am on scene before they call for th truck.
Come on sunday. Its $15 for gate fee. Sat is $25 but is also good for sun. Practice starts at 8am. Racing around 11 or 12.

No worries ... it's not my bike. Just another one of those unique internet items I couldn't resist posting.
The tires are not painted. You can buy sportbike tires with different colors/patterns from Tomohawk Tires. They are mostly for show rather than performance. Apparently the color process doesn't allow enough silica to stay in the compound (or maybe it's too much silica ... I don't remember) to give them the grip of regular sportbike performance tires.
Here's a link to their gallery

Chain lube will be the culprit of the blackwall on the rear...
