It's at times like this that I wish I were sooooo rich I could freight my bike out there, jump on a plane first class, and meet all you guys out there face to face. It isn't going to happen, but it would be nice.
I heard from a breaker's in the north of Spain about a policemen with a '90 1K who'd fitted the front end off a '95, dog bones and R1 brakes about 5 years ago, so he was ahead of his time, and without your help a bit of a DrJim but no other news and few other Fizzers.
You see them advertised in the paper, and there're some real minters for €1500 (mine's a dog, and it cost me €1700 a couple of years ago, I should've been more patient) but there isn't a Spanish forum with the kind of info to be found here.
Still, if I hadn't bought the bike when I did I would've missed out on two years riding/tinkering/cursing so there's no contest.
Cheers to all of you and when you get togther may it be a real blast.
Photos please.

I could definately try to make it. Construction on the new building will be done in April, shelves should be stocked and doors open by June.
Did I mention we are opening a moto accessory shop here in Dallas?
Lewisville area to be exact.
So, if it falls somewhere in there, i won't make it. Otherwise let's get it on!

Would the SE stand for Seattle regarding the meet? I'd like to come and have been thinking 'bout such an event but travelling much further than Seattle woudn't really be in the cards for me. Although, Laguna Seca would be an awesome ride!!

Yes Yes I know, I said, I'm building a project YZF1070
Basement is done now, 850 finished and gone...
Gotta get the new siding up on the house.
Fixing the FZ1 up, cleaning up garage and then I might even begin

I still say Road America would be best. They have camping on site. And theres a rather "rowdy" campground across the street known as the Zoo.
Some of the incedents at the Zoo over past years....
Dead deer found sitting on mens toilet....
nude quad runner races...
topless contest for girls...
burnout contests...
tying a passed out drunt to fence with pants down contest...
wheelie contests on the main road with the sheriff dept scoring...
mud volleyball (if rains)
groping girls while playing mud volley ball...
greased pig catch...
Harley up a tree....
