Wondering if anybody has ever been to one of their shows and if it's worthwhile. Looking at the site it seems like there would be some pretty cool stuff there. If I go I'd be hitting the one in Chicago. Few locations are giving factory demo rides...to bad the Chicago show is in Feb so they won't be doing that there :sad

A friend of mine rode a new Busa, ZX14, Tri 675 and a bunch of HDs at the last Daytona ... the weather is hit or miss that time a year. Oh and don't forget all the GIRLS. Ya can't go wrong !!!

Yeppers, Rob. Same here....depends on what is going on with work & school. Still I doubt I'll have any problems being able to go. Won't know until it gets closer for what day I'd be going. More than likely it would be on Saturday only. Unless my girlfriend's brother can hook us up for a hotel for cheap we may stay in Chicago for the weekend.
Can't beat getting a good room in Chicago for $35

Yeah, but Chicago's almost to the point where they'll charge you for walking down the street...lol. Love that city, but fup is it expensive to visit.

I'm on my way to the Long Beach show this morning. I've seen them in Seattle many times but this will be be my first socal show. I'm curious to see if they are bigger down here, this being motorcyle mecca and all (at least for the west coast). I'll give a report when I get back.

Rain tires work great in snow.

I saw the show and it was pretty interesting. Lots of bikes, parts and scantily clad umbrella girls. The new Aprilia SXV 450 v-twin supermoto is incredible. It feels lighter than my XR 250. There was an insane radial (like the old airplane motors) motored bike that has to be seen. I have some pictures so if somebody wants to see any I'll need some help (FZRDude ?).

I went to the DC one the last two years. There is always something to look at and if you get there earlier you can get some nice swag.
Last year they had Roberts Sr.'s 500cc bike on display, the new LE R1, bunch of AMA bikes, etc. Year before they had Rossi's GP bike. I love looking at them, just wish they'd leave the bodywork off once in awhile!
I also enjoy it because it's not a Harley fest--there were a few choppers back in a corner and that was it. And that time of year there is nothing going on with sprotbikes.
I'll go again this year. Some of our local dealer offer discount coupons.

You know if you're going, Rob? Didn't realize the show was next weekend. Thought it was later in the month. Haven't made up my mind for sure, but still want to go to it.
