They are selling it as a collector piece. Not for me IF and that is a big one, I could afford a car like that it would not sit much. I cannot own a vehicle motorcycle or car and not drive/ride it.

She's a beaut' for sure. Kind of surprised they didn't save that for the Barrett-Jackson auction. Of course the fees you have to pay them are a bit more than Ebay charges...lol

So...
Lemme see here. Some Yahoo got some trashed GT500 with a blowed up motor and put a little small block crate motor and incorrect tranny in it, Gave it a paint job that is bubbleing and want's $40k for it cause it's a re creation?
Have I got that right so far?
Only on EBay...
Jim

I was thinking the same thing Jim.

Except re-creations are not originals.

And if that actually WAS a GT500 (which I highy doubt since if Carroll would had seen this car he would had smacked the crap out of the guy. Probably bought the dash already signed), WTF would you chop up a potential $300K car to make a freaking wanna-be movie car? Seen regular 67-69 mustangs done up like that. Just shake my head at it. Its just as bad as that idiot locally who took a factory 440 big block Challenger R/T converitble and PRO STREETED it. Even cut up the original R/T hood to stick a blower trhough. Cars ruined.

Also the movie Elenanor had STOCK GT500 rims, not those gay looking 18" homo rims.

As said before, this isnt a RESTORATION, its a modification. Wanna do this crap with old 6 cyl versions or masic v8 versions, fine, knock yourself out. But DO NOT DESTROY the collecter cars.

Nice car ... very tempting. Let's see, should I put out $120K for the MV Agusta F4CC or $180K for the Shelby?

i like mv, but they have their heads either up their asses or in the clouds when it comes to charging 120k for that damn bike.

especially when you could have bought the desmosedici motogp replica bike for half that.

Oh, come on guys ... at least with the Agusta F4CC you also get a custom tailored Trussardi leather jacket and a numbers matching Girard-Perregaux wristwatch to go with the bike.
