Hate to tell him. That bike WONT keep up with any of the new 600's given equal riders.

I would hate to see the matching leathers!
And a plug in the front tyre? - no way would I ride a sports bike with a repaired tyre!

I have. Done right its fine for everyday riding. Wont be racing on it, but bumming around its fine. Front though I would have replaced asap. Rear, I would wait intil I need new tyres.

Fair point Rob and I hope your right!! ;)

Over in the UK tyres have to be repaired within the limits of our British standard which does not allow repairs to tyres with a speed rating Z or above.
Hence you would struggle to find someone here to carry out any pemanant repair.
So get a nail in your brand new superbike tyre and it will only be fit for the bin! :hissy
