Kick Stand....

Post by noshoes »

I need a longer kickstand (about an inch) to compensate for my 155mm dog-bones.Does anyone know of a bolt-on one or should mod my stock one.......

I got a set of DR.Jims 155 dog bones. I also have the rear Ohlins shock which raised the rear up but i installed a set of race-techs complete front race suspension which lowered the front end. I just carry a 2x4 block under my seat just aft of the tool set fits perfect lololol...If i don't use the block she leans over alot but it won't tip over... i had a buddy who was going to weld an extension but i'm not sure how it will tuck in when in the raised position... sorry no help but just wanted to share the same trouble your having lol... :poke

Sounds like we have the same setup, including the wood block. Maybe Dr Jim could make a longer kick-stand and sell it with the dog-bones as a set...
