My new ride...

Post by Yoniboi »

While we're talking bicycles, I just picked up a 'new' ride with a view to getting back into racing next year.

It's four years old but well maintained and still competitive, so... started doing sit-ups again and will prolly join a gym next month.

Is it 'cos I'll be 40 next year??? :)

Worse things could happen... It's the alternatives to age that one needs to be afraid of. :)

Hope you still have the antique Orange? Enjoy!

Spook.
Yup. Still got the '99 Patriot. I'll never sell it. Just fitted some Supertacky 2.35" wide Maxxis tyres, new (long) pins in the pedals and sintered pads to freshen her up.
Been down the bike park three times this summer (Bike Park = What they do with a ski resort off season, lifts and all) and I'm tired of seeing how the other half live (full on 9" travel DH rigs vs my 5.5" travel 'enduro' bike). The new DH bike has 2.5" more travel than the 'old' one, and it will make a difference.

Yours for $2300. (Except I aint selling)!!![/b]

$2300.00 I didn't pay that much for both of my FZR 1000's together. Hope you enjoy it though.
